Created by a female founder, for female founders

Have you ever wondered why building a business feels exhilarating one day and completely overwhelming the next? Why you're full of ideas but struggle to switch off. Why everyone tells you how successful you are, yet you struggle to reply to emails and follow through on your ideas?  Do you constantly feel like you're winging it and clinging on for dear life?

I know that feeling because I've lived it.

I launched Dahlia Beach in 2020 with no farming experience or horticultural qualifications. Since then, I've built a community of more than 200,000 followers by sharing the reality of building a business from scratch. I've always wanted to be a positive role model, so I've shared the highs alongside the lows: the mistakes, the self-doubt, the burnout, the chaos and the joy.

Then this year, at the age of 45, I was diagnosed with ADHD.

Suddenly, so many pieces of my life made sense. Since sharing my diagnosis, I've been overwhelmed by the number of women who have messaged to say, "I think this might be me too."

Bloom & Brain was born from those conversations.

Meet our Speakers

Dr-Judith-Mohring.jpg

ADHD Expert & Founder of ADHD Ed

Dr Judith Mohring

Judith knows what it's like to be diagnosed with ADHD in midlife - because she was too. A consultant psychiatrist with 25 years' clinical experience, she now trains clinicians for the UK Adult ADHD Network, coaches senior professionals with ADHD and helps businesses understand neurodiversity at work. Her core belief: education can be as powerful as medication.

Founder & Author of Brain First Business

Amanda Perry

Amanda built, scaled and sold four businesses before working out that fighting her own brain was the fastest route to burnout. She's spent the years since figuring out why the standard business playbook fails ADHD founders - and what to do instead. Her Brain First method blends lived experience with neuroscience to build businesses that are profitable and sustainable.

Women’s Health Practitioner

Adele Wimsett

Adele works at the intersection almost nobody is covering properly: ADHD, perimenopause and the female nervous system. Diagnosed with ADHD in her forties, she found that understanding how hormonal shifts amplified her ADHD traits made everything finally make sense. She now helps women decode what their hormones are actually doing - and why the standard advice so often fails them.
